Appeal
in support of Budhist Community Centre, UK
It
is a bitter truth that violence, war, crime and lack of basic human
rights and humanity all over the world and similar events and
bloodshed in our own country has made all of us sad.
Although
we take pride in being people of the country where the ambassador of
peace, Lord Buddha was born, it is embarrassing that peace itself has
been scarce in our country in recent years. It is
time for all human being of the world to sow the seed of peace from
within and to progress to peaceful existence of oneself, society,
community, country and eventually whole of the world.
Being
the people of birthplace of Lord Buddha, we feel we have to make the
effort at least to emphasize the importance of peaceful co-existence.
In
order to attain this we are organizing a cultural programs and a D/D
party in aid of Buddhist Community Centre, UK and we sincerely
anticipate participation of various communities and organizations in
the UK.
