हिमालयन शेर्पा साँस्क्रितिक केन्द्र नेपालले ११ औ बार्षिक साधरण सभा सम्पन्न गरे 

                                           

 
 काठमाण्डौ, डिसेम्बर ५, हिमालयन शेर्पा साँस्क्रितिक केन्द्र नेपालले केन्द्रका अध्यक्ष श्रीमती याङजी शेर्पाको सभापतित्वमा जोरपाटी स्थित स्तुपा पार्टी प्यालेसमा आफ्नो एघारौ बार्षिक साधारण सभा सम्पन्न गरेको छ। प्रमुख अतिथी श्री जिप छिरिङ लामा तथा बिशेष अतिथीमा नेपाल शेर्पा संघको अध्यक्ष श्री पेमा छिरि शेर्पा हुनुहुन्थ्यो भने बिभिन्न संघ सँस्थाको प्रतिनिधी हरुले अतिथिको आसन ग्रहण गरेको थिए। कार्यक्रममा केन्द्रको तर्फबाट महा सचिव पेम्बा गेलु शेर्पाले केन्द्रको कार्य प्रगति, लक्ष्य तथा कार्यक्रम सम्बन्धि प्रतिबेदन प्रस्तुत गरेको थिए भने कोषाध्यक्ष श्री कार्मा छिरिङ शेर्पाले आफ्नो प्रतिबेदन प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए भने प्रमुख अतिथि, बिशेष अतिथीद्वायबाट शेर्पा कलाकारहरुलाई खाता लागाई धन्याबाद प्रकट गरेका थिए।बक्तहरुको बक्तब्यको क्रममा सँस्क्रितिक केन्द्रलाई सुचारु राखन सदस्यबाट संकलित तथा कार्यक्रमबाट संकलित बजेट अपुग भएकोले राज्यस्तरबाट नै आफ्नो भाषा कला साँस्क्रितिको जगेर्नको लागी बजेट प्रस्तावको लागी कर्यक्रम अघि बढाउनु पर्ने सुझाव सभासद ल्हकी शेर्पाले दिनु भयो भने भने प्रमुख अथि श्री लामाले आफ्नो भाषा कला साँस्क्रितिको लागी हिमालयन शेर्पा साँसक्रितिक केन्द्रको उल्लेखनिय भुमिका रहेको र आफ्नो तर्फबाट सक्दो सहायोग गर्ने बताउनु भयो भने खानपान सहितको  उक्त कार्यक्रम सफल्ता पुर्वक महा सचिव पेम्बा गेलु शेर्पाले गर्नु भएको छ।

Appeal in support of Budhist Community Centre, UK

It is a bitter truth that violence, war, crime and lack of basic human rights and humanity all over the world and similar events and bloodshed in our own country has made all of us sad.

Although we take pride in being people of the country where the ambassador of peace, Lord Buddha was born, it is embarrassing that peace itself has been scarce in our country in recent years.  It is time for all human being of the world to sow the seed of peace from within and to progress to peaceful existence of oneself, society, community, country and eventually whole of the world.

Being the people of birthplace of Lord Buddha, we feel we have to make the effort at least to emphasize the importance of peaceful co-existence.

In order to attain this we are organizing a cultural programs and a D/D party in aid of Buddhist Community Centre, UK and we sincerely anticipate participation of various communities and organizations in the UK.

                                                  UK SHERPA KIDUG 3rd EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING      

UK Sherpa Kidug 3rd Executive Committee meeting was held on Sunday 3rd May 2009 in Sagarmatha Gurkha/Nepalese community’s office Ashford Kent. The meeting chaired by Mr Ang Kaljang Lama Chairman of UK Sherpa Kidug and host by General Secretary Mr Rinji Sherpa. Following Executive members their families and advisers were attendance and has been discussed the following agenda during 6hrs meeting.

On presence of above personals , the following decision had been made and approved
1. Losar celebration 2136 reported by organizer (lawas), with £450.16 Budget from celebration . On behalf of Committee chairman thanked to all organizer for their big support and hard work.
2. During the meeting Kidug Events schedule calendar has been set for 2009/2010, And form new organizer Committee for all events also venue has confirmed. Which is you could view visiting on kidug website www.uksherpa.org.
3. In last annual general meeting We have been discussed about funding support for Sherpa language and cultural as requested by Himalayan Sherpa cultural Kathmandu, during this meeting we discussed again and agreed by everyone to support them per month 3000NRS. Money will be sent by quarterly for one year and will be review under their term and condition.
4. By Co-ordinate Kidug Chairman, recent meeting with two different organisation Yolmo Samaj UK and Tamang Samaj UK Decided to organize Fund rising event for Buddhist Community Centre UK has discussed and encourage to all Executive members and all well-wisher to attend on program which is being held on Sunday 21 June 2009 in London.
5. As we are all Sherpas is Buddhist so during meeting we have informed to all and encourage attending on Buddha Jayanti Celebration organized by Buddhist Community Center UK on Saturday 9th May 2009.

a, during the meeting by all members discussed about kidug membership fees and agree to  all life members fee will go in to kidug saving account and the rest will remain in kidug current account. Also £1000 is for an emergency fund has been set for all members those have very difficult situation and for any big incident. Term and condition will be issued .
b, During the any Kidug  Celebration  program , if there are any private fund rising , e.g  CD selling ,donation collecting , they must inform  Kidug in advanced and kidug organizing committee will set for location , Not allowed in the main hall.
c, From next program starter and foods time will be mention on the Tickets that make sure people arrived in time. At the end meeting was concluded by Kidug Chairman Mr Ang Kaljang Lama.

फार्नबरो /युके शेर्पा किदुगले ग्याल लो मे मो लाङ लोसार २१३६ फार्नबरोमा एक कार्यक्रम गरी भव्यतापूर्वक मनाएको छ ।
लामा गुरुबाट संग शेर्केम धारी लोसारको आगमनको प्रार्थना गरी सुरु गरिएको सो कार्यक्रमको दोस्रो चरणमा ब्ल्याक इथनिक माइनोरिटी अवार्डबाट सम्मानित हुनु भएका किदुगका उपसभापति तथा आशफोर्ड गोर्खा कम्युनिष्टीका अध्यक्ष गोम्वा शेर्पालाई किदुगका अध्यक्षले खादा ओढाई सम्मान तथा वधाई ज्ञापन गर्नु भएको थियो । उपाध्यक्ष गोम्वा शेर्पाले छोटो मन्तव्य दिदै ब्ल्याक इथनिक माइनोरिटीका बारेमा जानकारी गराउनुका साथै आफूलाई बधाई दिने आयोजक संस्था लगायत सबैलाई धन्यवाद दिनु भएको थियो ।

संस्थाका कार्यकारी सदस्य निम तेन्जी शेर्पाले कार्यक्रममा सहभागी अतिथि तथा सम्पूर्ण नेपालीहरुलाई स्वागत गर्नु भएको थियो । किदुगका महासचिव रिन्जी शेर्पाले सञ्चालन गर्नु भएको सो कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथि अर्यालले संस्थाका आजीवन सदस्यहरुलाई ब्यानर र प्रमाणपत्र वितरण गर्नु भएको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा संस्थाका अध्यक्ष आङ कल्जङ लामाले विभिन्न जातिहरुको संस्कृति संरक्षणको लागि वेलायतमा नेपाली संस्थाहरु गठन भएतापनि यसले एकता कायम हुनुको सट्टा विभाजन भएको बताउनु भयो । उहाँले नेपालीहरु एक सुत्रमा एकतावद्ध भई वेलायती समाजमा आफ्नो संस्कृतिको संरक्षण गर्दै एकीकृत हुनको साथै नेपालीलाई इथनिक माइनोरीटीमा समावेश गराउनका लागि भईरहेको प्रयासलाई सबै संस्थाका प्रमुखहरुले गहिरिएर सोच्न पर्ने आवश्यकता रहेकोमा जोड दिनु भयो ।
उहाँले नेपालमा संविधान लेख्न सुझाव पठाउने, एनआरएनको परिभाषालाई सही अर्थमा परिभाषित गर्नु पर्ने तथा केन्द्रीकृत संरचनालाई विकेन्द्रीकरण गर्नुपर्ने र नेशनल लेभलमा संघीय रुपमा अगाडि बढाउनु पर्ने बारेमा विचार राख्नु भएको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा 'आयो है लोसार' वोलको गीतमा प्रस्तुत गरिएको नृत्यले दर्शकहरुलाई नेपालमै लोसार मनाएको अनुभुति गराएको थियो । कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत अन्य सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमले पनि त्यत्तिकै रौनक थपेको थियो भने सो कायक्रममा  यु के निवासी  बिभिन्न शेप्ि कलाकारहरुले भाग लिएका थिए ,  .सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमको सञ्चालन चाँद लामा तथा पेमा लामाले  गर्नु भएको थियो ।
राफल तथा सामुहिक नाचगानको समेत आयोजना गरिएको सो कार्यक्रममा डिजे तथा खाना व्यवस्थापन सपन इण्टरप्राइजेजले गरेको थियो । यो वर्षको लोसारको आयोजना आङ कालजाङ लामा, आङ माया लामा, चाँद लामा, जाङमु लामा, दावा छिरिङ शेर्पा, पासाङ शेर्पा तथा पाशि शेर्पाले गर्नु भएको थियो ।


लुम्बिनी बिकास कोषको सदस्य सचिव पदमा शेर्पा नियुक्त

गठबन्धन सरकारको हालै बसेको मन्त्रि परिसदको निर्णयले बिभिन्न बिभागहरुमा सामबेशि पद पुर्ति गरेका छन। यसै गरि लुम्बिनि बिकास कोषको सदस्य सचिव पदमा आचार्य  कर्मा साङपो शेर्पालाई  नियुक्त गरेको छन। दोलखा जिल्ला बिगु गा बि स स्थाई घर भएको आचार्य शेर्पा नेपाल बौद्ध महासंघका महा सचिव समेत हुनु हुन्छ। बिगतलामो समयदेखि गैर बौद्ध धर्मवलम्विहरुले पदभर सम्हालदै आएको लुम्बिनि बिकास कोषमा गठबन्धन सरकारले पहिलो पटक बौद्धमार्गि समुदायको ब्यक्तिलाई नियुक्त गरिएको हो।      
 

Financial contribution appeal for Census

Dear All
 
As of today, there are no reliable data on the number and characteristics of Nepalese population living in the UK. Hence, we have not been able to demonstrate our cohesive strength in the community and are facing difficulties in utilizing the available local and national level facilities/ services which are provisioned for ethnic minority populations. As of yet, we are recorded as “Other Asian” category and there is no separate category of our own. If our number is enough for a separate category (Nepali), we must have to pay our efforts without any delay, for which we all Nepalese institutions, community organizations or Nepalese people living in the UK are working together. 
 

Census management committee pleased to list the contributions that are contributed by the Nepali organizations, their associates or Nepali individuals. We highly appreciate for the contribution whoever has generously offered and will be mentioned in the final report.
